•Advise ADRC research teams on suitable application of statistical packages and techniques to evaluate socio-economic disaster impacts and how to mainstream disaster risk reduction into regional and global development initiatives.
•Manage ADRC’s Natural Disasters and Socio-Economic database and perform statistical and econometric analysis to evaluate the socio-economic impact of natural disasters, climate change and early warning systems in the Asia region in accordance with TDRM (Total Disaster Risk Management) and ISDR (International Strategy for Disaster Reduction) concepts and objectives.
